1st IFAPP Science2Business Conference
Academia-Industry Collaboration for New and Better Medicines

Development of new and better medicines depend on efficient collaboration between academia and pharmaceutical companies. Pharmacists and academics in the field of clinical trials meet to discuss their views to stimulate synergy and effective cooperation during the first IFAPP Science2Business Conference “Academia-Industry Collaboration for New and Better Medicines: From Partnership to Trust”. This two day event will take place on 18th and 19th of April 2011 in Pakhuis De Zwijger in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The IFAPP has assembled globally renowned speakers as Robert Steinbrook (national correspondent New England Journal of Medicine), David Vulcano (former chair at Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) Board of Trustees) and Fergus Sweeney (head of Compliance and Inspections EMA). Since the IFAPP conference in Beijing scheduled in October 2010 was cancelled, the Science2Business Conference will be an interesting additional event of the IFAPP. This is the ideal opportunity to meet other international members and to welcome Mr. Rudolf van Olden as new president of the IFAPP.
